Through our Schools workers we run a variety
of lessons in Middle and Upper Schools, these can be in RE or
citizenship. We can cover topics such as Biblical stories and
festivals as well as morals and values.
Lessons can be either team led with teachers or we take the whole
lesson. Our lessons can be created around whatever topic you would
like. We try to keep the lessons fast moving, creative and with
lots of student participation.
Here are some of the topics we have covered in
previous lessons;
• Christmas
• Easter
• Creation
• Growing up In Christianity/Commitments of a Christian
• Trade and poverty (Trading Game)
• Prejudice
We also take assemblies again on a variety of
topics as before. Assemblies are a great opportunity for students
to meet us and for us to share values, morals and stories from
a Christian perspective. Assemblies are a great time to have fun
whilst sharing with the students using memorable illustrations.
Here are just a few of some assembly topics we
have taken so far;
• Value
• Commitment
• Influences
• Christmas/Easter
• Big questions
• Passion
We have been running a successful lunch time club,
Rock Solid at a middle school which reaches on average 60 pupils
a week. The club is to promote, physical, mental, emotional and
spiritual well being. This is achieved through games, discussion
and activities. If you are interested in hearing more about this
club for a lunchtime or after school please contact Beckie.
